Counseling
We're in this together!
Navigating the academic and social aspects of high school, all while considering what comes next, can be a bit daunting. But students don't have to do it alone. SAHS has people here to support both students and their families.
Not sure how to apply for scholarships or even when applications or due? Need help registering for classes? Check out our High School Roadmap or reach out to staff in the counseling centers below. We're here for you!
Support when you need it
Counselors provide a comprehensive counseling model assisting students in the following areas:
- Transition to high school
- Educational planning (updates to six-year plan)
- Post-high school planning
- Career development
- Personal/social development (support and counseling)
- Communication with staff and parents per individual student academic needs
- Referral to in-school and community resources
- College and Career Center resources
- Academic assessments
Each student and family works with the same counselor throughout all four years of high school. Please call the appropriate Pony Center secretary to make an appointment.
