Pledge of Allegiance

Students will recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America daily in elementary schools and once a week at secondary schools. Any person who does not wish to participate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for any personal reason may elect not to do so. Students must respect another person’s right to make that choice. Students will also receive instruction in the proper etiquette toward, correct display of, and respect for the flag.
