Visitors and Volunteers
The information on this page is a brief summary. For complete information, please review Policy 903: Visitors to School District Buildings and Sites and Policy 404: Criminal Background Checks.
Stillwater Area Public Schools welcomes parents, guardians, volunteers, and community members into our schools. To help maintain a safe and secure learning environment, all visitors and volunteers are expected to follow district procedures.
Visitors
All visitors must enter through the school's main entrance, check in at the office, present a valid government-issued photo identification, and wear a visitor badge while in the building. The district's visitor management system helps verify visitor identity and supports school safety.
Students who do not attend the school are not permitted to attend classes with friends, family members, or siblings during the school day. School tours may be arranged through the school office.
Volunteers
The district values the contributions of volunteers and encourages family and community involvement in our schools. Depending on the nature of the volunteer role, a criminal background check may be required before volunteering.
Additional information about visitor procedures, volunteer opportunities, and background check requirements is available on the district website or by contacting your child's school.
