The information on this page is a brief summary. For additional guidance, please review 418 Policy: Drug Free Workplace Drug Free School.
Stillwater Public Schools are committed to maintaining an alcohol/drug/tobacco-free environment. A student shall not: use a beverage containing alcohol (including attending school while under the influence); use tobacco, tobacco-related devices, or electronic cigarettes; or use or consume, have in possession, buy, sell or give away marijuana or any substance defined by law as a drug. Electronic cigarette means any oral device that provides a vapor of liquid nicotine, THC, or any other similar substance, and the use or inhalation of which simulates smoking. Students in violation of this rule will be immediately suspended, will be expected to meet and develop a remediation plan with the chemical health coordinator and may be recommended for expulsion. Students in violation of this rule will also be referred to law enforcement for additional charges. All tobacco products visible to or located by staff will be confiscated and destroyed.
