Robotics team battles in regional competition
The high school First Robotics team is battling it out in the 10,000 Lakes Regional. Stillwater Armada 2508 is among 60 other teams from across the state and North Dakota to take part. It's an intense competition that blends the excitement of sports with science and technology.
The students, who are in grades 9-12, have to build industrial-sized robots that can play a challenging field game in partnership with other teams. The alliances work together to strategize and come up with the best way to earn the most points in 3v3 team matches.
