Pony Express Collects Honors at Fall Convention

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Oct. 1, 2024 -- Stillwater Area High School's Pony Express student newspaper cleaned up at the Minnesota High School Press Association Fall Convention, collecting numerous individual and school recognitions. 

In addition to eight individuals earning awards, the Pony Express combined for five organization awards at the event held at the University of Minnesota campus.

As a charter member of Quill and Scroll since 1927, the paper was also presented with an International First Place award for the 19th time by the historic International Honorary Society for High School Journalists.
