Office Hours on Wednesdays
SAHS runs an alternative schedule on most Wednesdays throughout the school year in order to incorporate Office Hours. Office Hours are designed to provide flexibility for students to make up work or get extra help from teachers during the school day. Our first Wednesday to feature an Office Hours schedule is Wednesday, Oct. 2.
- Classes is shortened on Wednesdays to provide Office Hours at the beginning of the school day.
- Students in need of support or who want more time to accelerate their learning can report to school to meet in-person with teachers.
- Students who are caught up in their classes may choose to have a later start to the school day (Period 1 at 8:40) on these days.
This year features a change to the Office Hours schedule where Office Hours are at the beginning of the day rather than the end of the school day. Students are not required to attend Office Hours unless they are requested by a teacher.
Please see the schedule and the information sheet (attached below) for more details.
If you have any questions please contact your student's Pony Center.
