Hundreds of thousands of dollars awarded in local scholarships
More than four hundred thousand dollars in community scholarships were awarded to Stillwater Area High School seniors. 69 local donors offered 123 scholarships to SAHS students. This year, 83 graduates were given awards totaling $411,600 in first-year and renewable scholarships. That does not include national scholarships and those given from individual colleges and universities.
For some of the students college may not be possible without this support. For others, these awards will help relieve the burden of the first year of college. Thank you to all of the local community groups and individuals who have invested in our graduates and supported their continuing education!
