Graduation rates in Stillwater remain strong
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, students continued to graduate from Stillwater Area Public Schools at high numbers. According to data released by the Minnesota Department of Education, Stillwater Area High School had a graduation rate of 96.6% in 2020 - up from 95.8% the previous year. A total of 644 students graduated from Stillwater Area High School last year.
Overall the district’s graduation rate in 2020 was 93.5%, which includes students at St. Croix Valley Area Learning Center as well as Special Education students who can stay enrolled in our schools until they are 21 years old.
Stillwater area students are continuing to graduate at a higher rate than their peers across the state. The state average in 2020 was 83.8%.
