648 Students Honored with Academic Awards
STILLWATER AREA HIGH SCHOOL -- Sept. 23, 2024 -- For their outstanding academic work, 648 Stillwater Area High School students were presented with certificates at the 2024 Academic Lettering Awards Ceremony.
To qualify for the award, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.75 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year. Following welcoming remarks from Principal Rob Bach and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Efe Agbamu, Student Council Co-Presidents Maysen Puhrmann and Ainsley Smith delivered a student address.
In addition to the presentation of academic awards, Karina Fischer and Aidan Uglem were celebrated as National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. They were joined by Brock Blaha, Alexandra Kruse, Logan Liveringhouse, and Makena Ries as National Merit Commended Scholars.
Students that received an academic letter are asked to visit the Activities Office between 2:10 - 3 p.m. on school days with their white envelope to pick up their lettering materials.
