Do I need to know what I want to be when I grow up?
Feeling pressure to plan your life? Keep reading
We all know the question, "What do you want to do for a living?" This can cause a lot of stress for a young person who doesn't know the answer. That pressure can lead to costly decisions that may not lead to the right choices for you.
If you are feeling pressure to make a decision about your life after high school there's hope for you. Most adults are not doing the job they thought they would be doing when they were younger. A lot of the "mistakes" people made actually helped them later in their lives by giving them experiences that help them do better at their jobs today. They would not have gained these perspectives if they had just specialized in one area.
Trying many things can be good for you
Although many of us feel we have to find our one true calling in order to be happy, some people won't be happy unless they try many things. Some people enthusiastically dive into a new hobby or field of study for a time and then switch to another area with just as much passion. Watch the video below to find out why those people are needed just as much as those who were only made for one thing.
