Increase your skills and knowledge of Minnesota’s mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians and insects through more hands-on activities. Learn advanced trout stream monitoring and watershed management skills during the Brown’s Creek field trip. Manage the rainbow trout hatchery in the school’s aquatics laboratory and supervise the release of the fingerlings into Brown’s Creek. Conduct additional wildlife studies in the school’s 40-acre Environmental Learning Center. Continue to enhance your wildlife identification skills utilizing the school’s museum collection of preserved specimens. Investigate current issues and develop management plans for game, non-game, and invasive species. Explore educational opportunities and career pathways fisheries and wildlife management.Students who may be interested in any environment-related career pathway are encouraged to take both Fish and Wildlife 1 and Fish and Wildlife 2
